Beautiful Vintage Sage Green & Antique Pink Wedding Cake

Last month, a group of very talented wedding suppliers got together at The Last drop Village to create a vintage styled photo shoot. With the help of Tiffany & Alex, our "Bride & Groom" we got them suited and booted in gorgeous dresses from Claire Louise Brides, Bolton and accessories from Miranda Templeton Tiaras.

The colours that we chose to work with were ivory, sage green and a very delicate antique pink and they worked beautifully together. The amazing flowers were created by the very talented Victoria at Lancashire Floristry in Bolton whose shop I always love walking into, not only because of the gorgeous smell but because there's always so many pretty things to look at!!

The cake I created for the photos hoot was a four tier, covered in ivory sugar paste with a selection of handmade sugar paste roses. For the bottom tier I used a fabulous lace mould which I adorned with edible ivory pearls to pick out the floral detail. I also used a pearl mould to create the drapes of pale pink pearls.

I love this cake and so do many of our Brides & Grooms who have already begun to order different variations of it for weddings next year!

The photographs were fantastic thanks to the fabulous talents of Julie at Julie Lomax Photography, Bolton. She has some great wedding packages and really does create some unique and incredible images. She also does portrait and lifestyle shoots of friends & family and has a lovely website that's well worth a visit!
